Peri-Menopause Health Support Initiatives

Unleashing the 'Power in your Pause'

The Curious Minded Body develops initiatives that bring together research, storytelling, education, and peer support to address the biological, emotional, and social dimensions of the menopausal transition. Through academic and community-based research projects, film screenings and media engagement, educational toolkits, storytelling platforms, and peer support groups, these initiatives create spaces for learning, dialogue, and shared experience. By integrating knowledge with lived narratives, the work aims to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and foster more supportive healthcare, workplace, and community environments for women navigating midlife hormonal changes.

These efforts also seek to bridge the gap between clinical understanding and everyday lived realities, ensuring that women’s voices remain central to how menopause is understood and supported. By creating accessible and culturally sensitive resources, the initiatives empower individuals to make informed decisions about their bodies and well-being. They encourage intergenerational dialogue, inviting broader communities into conversations that have long been silenced or overlooked. In doing so, the work contributes to a more compassionate, informed, and inclusive approach to midlife health and transition
